I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be presenting on BioGPS at the 10th Annual Bio-IT World Conference & Expo 2011 taking place April 12-14, 2011 in Boston, MA.
I will be speaking in Track 3 on Cloud Computing, and the title of my talk will be “BioGPS – crowdsourcing the development of a gene annotation portal”. I’ll present a bit about the guts on how we host parts of BioGPS with Amazon Web Services, but there will be plenty of info on our current status and future plans as well.
