BioGPS has overhauled all the datasets in our dataset library. The datasets available in our library used to come from GEO. Now, the datasets have been imported from ArrayExpress, which translates into some awesome new features to use in your research!
Previously, there was a little more than 2000 datasets in the BioGPS dataset library. Now, there are nearly 6000 datasets available! The same basic information is available for each dataset in our dataset library, but now you can find even more details on the dataset by following it to the source at ArrayExpress.
Not only is the same basic info on the dataset available in BioGPS, but you can get more details from ArrayExpress
The availability of Factors in ArrayExpress means that we can empower the user to customize the gene expression chart based on factors of interest.
You can now customize the label in your gene expression chart. Note that this only works for datasets with factors.
For datasets with multiple samples, you can now view individual samples separately or collapsed together with error bars.
